python-pytools software package provides big bag of things supplementing Python standard library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-pytools
python-pytools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-pytools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pytools *
You will get with python-pytools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
